Microsoft's Singularity Operating System

"Microsoft Research has published the first details of a wholly new operating system under development called Singularity, designed new from the ground up, built on a new language and designed with emphasis on dependability instead of performance."

Dependability. Yeah right. "Windows XP, the most reliable OS to date." Yeah right. That actually might be true, I suppose. On a scale of 1 - 100, XP is the most reliable at 0.00001. Singularity will outrank it by leaps and bounds at 0.0001/100. Thanks MS, yer the bestest.

I got a post for you, maybe if people starting paying for their systems then they could dump some money into R&D. Ha!

What? I own MS XP. 2x over in fact! One came with the laptop and the other you purchased for me when you bought your computer. Maybe you didn't remember. Anyway, you may not have been pointing a finger at me, but it felt like it ;)
