Man of the House
A surprise from Tommy Lee Jones... What was he thinking?!?!?! Movies with cheerleaders should be carefully rethought before filming begins. Man of the House is no exception.
Batman Begins
A fairly intersting look at how Batman came to be, Batman Begins was something of a shock. I didn't hate the first three (or was it four?) Batman movies, but I didn't love them either. The plot seemed to drag on for the second act, but the movie totally redeemed itself in the end. I wasn't overly impressed with Christian Bale as Batman, yet compared to the last few Batmans, I'd say he did a pretty good job. Worth watching if you like the fantasy genre and comic books in any way.
War of the Worlds
War of the Worlds seemed to be too sensationalized for my liking. It was the usual Tom Cruise movie, over-hyped, over-acted, and over the top. The time line seemed too short and the climax was far too blah. Stupid ending, stupid movie, not one I'd watch more than once.
Herbie: Fully Loaded
So I had the unfortunate chance to watch Herbie: Fully Loaded last night. Something of a beast, it was. Lindsay Lohan's acting was her usual, and the story was fully aimed at the 12 year old girl age group. I did it, it's over with, and I'll live.
